Understanding Gakuran Roll Chances

Gakuran roll chances work by rarity tier, not by individual style. Every one of the 9 fighting styles belongs to one of four official tiers — Legendary, Epic, Uncommon, or Common — and the developers have confirmed each tier's combined drop rate: 1% for Legendary, 10% for Epic, 30% for Uncommon, and 59% for Common. What hasn't been published is how that tier percentage splits between the styles inside it, so this calculator shows the real tier rate for your target style instead of inventing a per-style number.

The calculator above uses your selected style's tier rate to compute an expected number of rerolls (1 divided by the tier's drop rate) and a Robux cost estimate at the confirmed ~2 Robux per reroll. Race and height are also randomized on every reroll, but since neither has a published probability, the calculator flags both as unknown instead of guessing, and shows any confirmed qualitative fact — like which races tend to roll taller heights — as plain text rather than a made-up percentage.

Rarity Tiers, Races, And What's Still Unknown

Rolling for a Legendary style (Kure, Capoeira, or Wrestling) means a 1% combined chance per reroll, which works out to about 100 expected rerolls and roughly 200 Robux to land one. An Epic style (Hakari or Boxing) sits at 10%, or about 10 expected rerolls and roughly 20 Robux. Uncommon (Muay Thai, Slugger, Karate) and Common (Basic) styles are far more likely to show up on any given reroll, at 30% and 59% respectively.

Character creation also rolls one of 6 races — Japanese, African, European, Middle Eastern, Indian, and Latinx — alongside height, surname, and cosmetics. None of these have a published roll percentage, but the developers have confirmed one qualitative pattern: African and European characters tend to roll taller heights more often, while Indian characters roll tall heights the least often. That's a real, sourced fact, not a numeric odds table, so we present it exactly as that.

How To Use The Roll Calculator

  1. Pick Your Target Style

Choose the fighting style you're rerolling for from the Target Style dropdown. Each option shows its official rarity tier so you know what odds you're working with before you commit any rerolls.

  2. Check Race And Height Notes

The Target Height and Target Ethnicity dropdowns are there for reference, but individual odds for race and height aren't published by the developers — the calculator tells you that directly instead of estimating.

  3. Read Your Tier Rate And Cost

The calculator shows your target style's rarity-tier drop rate, the expected number of rerolls to land that tier, and the total Robux cost at the confirmed ~2 Robux per roll rate.

Roll Calculator FAQ

What are the current gakuran roll chances by rarity?

The confirmed gakuran roll chances by rarity tier are Legendary 1%, Epic 10%, Uncommon 30%, and Common 59%. These are official combined tier rates; the split between individual styles inside a tier hasn't been published.

How many rerolls do I need for a Legendary style?

At a 1% combined drop rate, you'd expect roughly 100 rerolls to land a Legendary style (Kure, Capoeira, or Wrestling), costing about 200 Robux at ~2 Robux per reroll. That's an expected value, not a guarantee — actual results vary.

How many rerolls or Robux does an Epic style cost?

An Epic style (Hakari or Boxing) sits at a 10% combined drop rate, working out to about 10 expected rerolls and roughly 20 Robux. Free reroll codes can cut that cost significantly — check the Gakuran codes wiki for active codes.

How much does a reroll cost in Gakuran?

A reroll costs about 2 Robux. That rate is confirmed and is what the calculator uses to estimate your total Robux cost for any rarity tier.

How can I get free rerolls instead of paying Robux?

Redeem active Gakuran codes, which currently reward 15, 10, or 5 free rerolls depending on the code. Check the Gakuran codes wiki on this site for the current active codes and how to redeem them.

Does rerolling change my race and height too, not just style?

Yes — a reroll re-randomizes fighting style, race, and height together as one combined roll, which is why the calculator lets you review all three even though only the style's rarity-tier rate is published.
