A lot of code lists online are auto-generated or copied from other sites without ever being checked, which means expired codes linger for months and reward amounts get guessed or repeated from unreliable sources. Every code in the table above is read straight off the developers' own Trello board and Discord announcements, and the last-verified date tells you exactly when that check happened. The current wave shows why that matters: the board's active list changed four times in five days — on 2026-08-15, 08-17, 08-18 and 08-19 — so a list copied from any point in that stretch is already wrong.

Codes get added and expire on the developer's schedule, not ours, so we recheck this list regularly. If a code stops working between checks, it will be marked expired the next time we verify, rather than silently removed. Where the developers never published an exact reward amount — which is the case for every code in the current wave — we say "unconfirmed" instead of inventing a number, and we never publish a code whose spelling the board has masked.

Every code rewards free reroll tokens. The two active codes both shipped with the v8.009 update: SINGALONG for the new karaoke bar and EATUP for the food you can finally order at Dante's Yakiniku. Three more appeared between updates with no patch notes attached — SMALLRESTART on 2026-08-15, IDK on 08-17 and SMALL on 08-18 — and all three were expired again by 08-19, which is the clearest pattern on this page: update codes stick around, hotfix codes last a day or two. The developers list every code by name without stating reroll amounts, so we mark those rewards unconfirmed rather than guess. For reference, recent codes landed around MAPUPDATE and LARPSIMULATOR at 25 free rerolls each and UMA at 10. One more thing v8.009 changed: rerolls no longer come only from codes. Codes are still the fastest way to stack rerolls before a roll session, but a dry spell between codes is no longer a dry spell for rerolls.

Codes move fast in Gakuran: v8.009 expired all three v7.856 codes — SKATERBOY, WINGCHAN and WHY — and then burned through three of its own, with SMALLRESTART, IDK and SMALL all released and expired inside five days. Before that v7.856 expired ALI along with the masked "J*BS" code, which the board did briefly publish unmasked as JOBS before censoring it again. Earlier still, the v7.500 wave burned through THECODEIS, QUICKPATCH, and MUSICFIXESNOPTIMIZATION, following MAPUPDATE, LARPSIMULATOR, UMA, and the short-lived CHESS from v7.465, the earlier SECRET/SON/XAYSEYES and 15REROLLS/FIXES/2MIL rounds, and GAKURAN, the original launch code. Expired codes are kept in the table above marked expired rather than removed, since players searching for them deserve an honest answer rather than a dead end.
